A little bit about the designer: Ms. Tiel is an American designer who took Paris and the fashion world by storm, first in the 1960s and then later dressing and illustrating celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Priscilla Presley (the famous gold pleated dress is divine) and Oprah. Think gold lame, micro minis, meetings with Coco Chanel and Louis Feraud, Bergdorf Goodman hosting her custom couture salon, and designing costumes for top Hollywood movies.
