Antique black lace over pink satin bodice: Goods and Provisions offers over 150 years of fashion history in our collection. This antique bodice is a special piece in wonderful, wearable condition. The interior is an off white cotton with a few areas of repair. Interior boning is placed for structural support. The original hook and eyes for front closure are present, except for the first/top eye. The black lace is in excellent condition with only a few small holes which could easily be repaired. This could easily be repaired. The jacket has an unfinished collar which likely used to be sewn onto a separate collar. Wondering how a modern human might style this? We suggest keeping it simple. Wear with a tshirt and jeans. A lovely blouse with a lace collar and cuffs underneath, laces showing, would also be really cool. No labels to indicate designer, maker, fabric, or size are present.
