Vintage Wedding Dress Maxi Dress Spring Bride Appliques of Chapel and Bride
1970s vintage wedding dress: handmade in 1974 by a talented sewist named Joyce Whitcomb-Black. She named the dress “Spring Bride” according to the hidden, interior handmade label. There are so many details to love about this dress. Decorative heart shaped buttons line the front bodice and wrists. Crocheted lace trims the neckline, shoulders, chapel roof, bride’s dress/veil/bouquet, and the ribbon belt. Sweet, floral appliqués cover the skirt. The appliqued bride’s dress is eyelet and accented with a satin ribbon bow. Dreamy. While this bride has yellow/blond hair- we think the hair color could be changed with another fabric applique or fabric paint.
Final details: The dress is lined, except for the sleeves. Back zipper. There are no fabric or size labels. Fabrics feel/act like cotton and cotton blends. Please use the measurements below to determine how this will fit your body.
